Christchankeith “Ckay1” Marshall is a multifaceted musician who picked up his first instrument at the age of 7. His passion revealed itself with his first full-credit production work in 2006 on the highly acclaimed Light Poles and Pine Trees for Hip-Hop group Field Mob. This release reached #7 on the US Billboard 200 and #2 on Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. He went on to work with various A-List artists and labels such as Def Jam, Island Records, FTP, SYCO, and more. 

In 2017, he turned his ear to the film and television industry, expanding his craft, ultimately scoring commercials such as Banana Republic. In 2019, he embarked on a journey with WarnerMedia to apply the skillsets of music composition and sound design to brands such as NBA, MLB, TBS, and TNT. He went on to score original music compositions for a diverse collection of high-profile projects for some of the biggest names in the sports and entertainment world. He also provides sound design for a multitude of shows, promos, and features across a broad spectrum for broadcast television.  He has recently won 2 Emmys for his role in the creation of music compositions for the 2020 NBA Season.
